Piers Marchant came to Philadelphia in 1997 as the film critic for the Philadelphia Weekly (R.I.P.). Since then, he's written for the City Paper, Philly Mag, and NBC.
Currently, he is a regular film contributor to phillymag.com, vox.com, and the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. He has published several books, including one about becoming the Pope (which he did not), and another about the horror of human history. He lives simply and humbly and awaits your scorn.
